Appealing ceiling light B.Lux Aspen C17B for conventional lamps with a long cylinder made of lacquered aluminium for direct downward or lateral lighting through a grid.
The spirit of the Sixties is haunting the world of design. The fascinating ceiling lamp Aspen C17B designed by Werner Aisslinger for the Spanish manufacturer B.Lux is not immune to it. Its slender cylindrical diffuser is made of mat lacquered aluminium. Inside, it is possible to put a conventional lamp with screw socket for direct downward illumination. The light body is white inside in order to even more reflect the light. The special highlight of the light fixture is located on the top, where it comes in contact with the ceiling. One portion of the light is a shadow gap covered with a grid structure, through which lateral light passes. The ceiling is indirectly illuminated with a pattern from light and shadow. The B.Lux Aspen C17B Ceiling light is also available with other shapes as ceiling lamp, floor lamp or suspension with a double diffuser.
