101 Copenhagen Drop Bulb Mini Chandelier - 50s Danish Modernism meets contemporary design
The 101 Copenhagen Drop Bulb Mini Chandelier is inspired by the 50s Danish Modernism. Using the nature inspired spring bud shaped glass shades, the chandelier assures evenly diffused and optimized light.
This suspension is inspired by industrial and maritime references. The many arms of the chandelier can be customized and adjusted to the requirements of the space. The chic and futuristic approach to Drop’s design will give any room a modern and unique look and feel.
This light fixture is crafted out of iron and oxidized brass, but for the bulb variant glass is also used in lampshades.
The 101 Copenhagen Drop Bulb Mini is suitable for rooms with a height of 230-320 cm. For rooms with lower ceilings, the Papillion by 101 Copenhagen is a suitable alternative.
The Drop is available in many configurations: The original, Bulb version, as well as Drop mini and Drop bulb mini.

Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl
Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl began their creative partnership in 2015, blending Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian design principles. Hansen, trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and the Kyoto Institute of Technology, brings a refined understanding of traditional design practices, complemented by innovative production techniques. Hyldahl, with extensive experience and a deep appreciation for Asian aesthetics, contributes a unique perspective that enhances their work’s sense of harmony and clarity. Together, they have created notable pieces that reflect a balance between clean lines, functional elegance, and timeless forms. Inspired by mid-century design and modernist icons, their collaborations result in furniture and lighting that resonate with both Eastern and Western aesthetics, merging simplicity with warmth in each piece. Their designs are characterized by a subtle elegance, emphasizing craftsmanship and a seamless fusion of cultural influences.
