Arash Nourinejad
Nach Abschluss seines Architekturstudiums an der Königlich Dänischen Kunstakademie startete Arash Nourinejad Anour 2007 zunächst als einfaches Online-Portfolio. Inmitten einer Wirtschaftskrise hatte Arash Schwierigkeiten, Arbeit zu finden, und erwog sogar eine Anstellung bei einer dänischen Küchenmarke, um über die Runden zu kommen. Doch ein glücklicher Zufall sollte die Zukunft der Marke Anour prägen: Während er Möbel, darunter ein Bett, entwarf, entwarf er eine passende Pendelleuchte dazu. Diese Leuchte, später bekannt als das ikonische I-Model, wurde zum Herzstück der Anour-Kollektion. Als er die Pendelleuchte über das Bett hängte, scherzte er mit seiner Frau, dass die Leuchte und nicht das Bett zur Designikone werden könnte – und so geschah es. Arashs Designs fließen stark in seinen architektonischen Hintergrund ein und betonen klare Linien und die meisterhafte Beherrschung des Lichts. Sein Ansatz ist geprägt vom Streben nach Einfachheit und Perfektion. Er versucht, jedes Stück auf seine wesentlichen Elemente zu reduzieren und alles Überflüssige zu eliminieren. Diese Philosophie zeigt sich in den Beleuchtungsdesigns von Anour, die die zeitlosen Qualitäten dänischen Designs mit einem modernen Touch verkörpern und Minimalismus mit raffinierter Funktionalität in Einklang bringen.
